Doris was first and formost a Mom. She was great at being one. Mom taught us how to climb trees and catch frogs. She helped with home work and read so many stories to us. Many of which will be in our hearts forever.

She believed in always trying to be fair. Not an easy task with three children.

In later years when she and Dad retired she took joy in being able to travel to the many places that she and my Dad have read about. She truley loved her friends as well as her family.

I am so blessed to have had Doris as not only my Mom but as a cherished friend as well.

Isaiah 25:8 says: "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Jehovah God, a wonderful God gives this beautiful hope. He will get rid of death once and for all and give life to our dear loved ones that have passed. Those are promises we can fully trust in.
