Dootsie was one of a kind. He always had a smile and a good word for me and others. He worked hard and taught me a great deal by his easy going ways. I did not see him very often in recent years, but when I did, his smile was still as bright and I will miss him. Thoughts and prayers to the family at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember happy times during my childhood while visiting my grandmother (Margaret Starling) and we all got together. Mom wanted me to send her condolences, she is currently in the hospital. She loved Dootsie and speaks of him often. He will be missed.
