Bill was an older, 'cool' guy (four years difference) in high school but we had reconnected through Facebook in the past years. In his posts, his huge heart & spirit and love for his family and friends was a bright light. My best bet would be that angels were singing beach music or rock-n-roll as Bill crossed over! In our NN....a true, " Lion Sleeps Tonight"!

Bill and I worked together in the radio business for many years...lots of good times and moments of high drama, and Bill enjoyed them all! He certainly had a great capacity for enjoyment and an amazing knowledge of all things rock and roll. I only met Bill about a year ago via USMC Social Media but we corresponded just about everyday. Bill was a fellow Marine and had a great sense of humor and ready wit. I never knew Bill personally. Our Marine Corps careers never crossed paths. I new very little of him other than what I read on a Service website, but I knew everything I needed to know about him because we did wear the same uniform.
